Oneworld Travel Stations

Interface Design

Oneworld is a global brand that consist of 11 member airlines. The aim of the oneworld project was to develop an airport installation that would create awareness of the oneworld brand, specifically targeting business travellers.

'Travelstations' were installed at selected airport providing information on 27 worldwide destinations in association with Lonely Planet.

The interactive itself consisted of three large multi-touch screens. Users could navigate a 3D virtual globe finding information of the best places to eat, sleep and relax. After this they were prompted to travel around the the back screens where they collected more detailed information which they could then email to themselves as a bespoke PDF.

This project was shortlisted for a Revolution Award in 2008 and a BIMA in 2009.
