Li-Ning, China's largest athletic shoe and sports apparel brand, proposed to build a retail space in the heart of London.

As an expression of Li-Ning's sporting values the concept 'Capturing the Moment' was developed. This idea lay at the core of the environment, giving visitors the power to capture their own sporting moments.

As visitors approach a large screen they choose an RFID enabled wristband that represent one of the five Li-Ning sponsored sports. This activates a dynamic, real-time visualisation, moving as they do with a unique expressive form that evokes the nature of the sport. After a set time, the image is frozen, and the visitor recieves a print out of their unique ‘portrait’.

To allow the experience to live beyond the space visitors are able to upload their portrait to their social media profile. In addition, these portraits can be generated through an augmented reality iPhone application.
