My name’s Alan, a digital designer / maker of things. In 2018 I co-founded Make Associates, a digital design studio specialising in interaction for the live environment.
Prior to that, I led the design offer of the Innovation & Lab Team at the Future Cities Catapult, collaborating with a load of talented developers, anthropologists, data scientists and urbanists to help research and solve city challenges through user-centred design methodologies. I've also kept busy at a variety of diverse agencies such as Jack Morton, Moving Brands, as well as Digital Art Director at Imagination.
In addition to commercial work I try to keep busy with a bunch of personal projects. I love to collaborate with other designers and developers so please get in touch if you have a project in mind.
